Have you tried turning it off and back on again?

Hey there, thanks for stopping by to check out my newly re-vamped website. I had something a bit more elaborate going for several years and then got discouraged by not really understanding what I wanted my website to be. So I took it down and replaced it with a simple text list of records and tours I’ve done as well as a press type bio. That’s been up for a few years now and I’ve been meaning to update ever since.

I have a lot of different interests within several musical disciplines and avenues of exploring audio production methods professionally. Because of this, I have a hard time “finding my audience” in a sense. I’m not really sure who I’m presenting all this info for since things that I’m into can go from modular synth sound processing to drum tuning to creating live show audio content to baritone guitars to types of outboard compressors. I can be a songwriter, performer, mixing engineer, producer, touring backline tech, touring playback programmer, remixer, educator.. all kinds of stuff depending on what is called for in the moment. Seems like kind of an odd skillset to juggle into a cohesive website statement but I’m giving it a shot!

So I’m re-working my approach to a website for myself with all that in mind. I’m putting together this Featured Projects section where I’d like to focus on contributions that friends have made to records and/or tours I’ve worked on over the years. So those blog posts will feature short interviews and some little production technique nuggets here and there in hopes of sparking some inspiration for your own projects.

That’s pretty much it for now.

Let’s see what happens, thanks!
